While KenDoula Services is not directly in-network with insurance providers, we provide detailed superbills that many PPO plans reimburse. We recommend calling your provider to confirm eligibility for:

  • Childbirth education

  • Doula support

  • Prenatal wellness services

We are also HSA/FSA eligible.

  • What is a superbill?

A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes service codes and documentation required by insurance companies for reimbursement consideration.

We provide this upon request after services are rendered.

  • Can I use my HSA or FSA card?

Yes. Most clients are able to use HSA or FSA funds for eligible services.
We recommend confirming with your plan administrator if you are unsure about specific coverage.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Flexible payment arrangements are available for select services.

Birth and postpartum support can be structured in installment options when arranged in advance. Our goal is to make support accessible while maintaining professionalism and clear expectations.

  • When is payment due?

Payment structure depends on the service selected:

  • Courses & workshops: Due at registration

  • Birth doula packages: Deposit required to secure your due date; remaining balance due prior to on-call period

  • Postpartum services: May be paid in advance or structured per agreement

  • Is a deposit required?

Yes. A non-refundable retainer secures your spot on the calendar and ensures availability for your estimated due date.

  • Do you accept employer maternity reimbursement programs?

Yes. Many employers offer maternity or wellness reimbursement benefits. We provide the necessary documentation to submit for reimbursement if applicable.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept:
